Luxe Haven
Sprinkman Design Collective was brought aboard to outfit this newly renovated 1900 sq ft condo in the heart of downtown Madison. From new furnishings, bedding, drapery, and decor to creating a custom mirror in the guest bathroom, it was a full and complete transformation of the space. The perfect balance was struck between glamorous and cozy and modern and timeless, balancing every day comfort with an elevated aesthetic that resulted in a stunning and livable home that our clients love!
Entry
The entry blends functionality with impact. A striking mercury glass mirror serves as a focal point, reflecting natural light to visually expand the space. Below, a warm latte colored leather bench with brushed brass legs provides a comfortable spot for putting on shoes. A dimensional, custom handmade wool rug adds warmth and texture. On the adjacent wall, we surprised the client with framed photos of their beloved pups and adorable dog tail hangers for their leashes. Tailored detailing, reflective surfaces, and the three spots to touch down upon entry establish the home’s modern, inviting aesthetic.
Kitchen
In the kitchen, custom swivel counter stools combine comfort and durability, upholstered in performance fabric to enjoy food and drink with abandon. Their light wood finish complements the Sherwin Williams Natural Linen cabinetry, creating a tonal, airy palette. Glass-front upper cabinets showcase curated décor, adding visual interest and a layered sense of style to the space. The mix of functional design and thoughtful detailing makes this kitchen both practical and beautifully composed.
Dining Room
The statement dining table’s natural wood grain and generous proportions ground the space with dining chairs selected as a perfect complement. They feature a mix of tailored upholstery, a cane matting back, and an antique gold frame and legs that match the base of the table.
Art was also carefully selected for this area. With the right scale and a palette that echoes the tones of the furnishings, the pieces add depth and visual rhythm to the walls. Family pictures are featured above a sculptural media console, adding a deeply personal touch to the center of the unit.
Living Room
The living room is both comfortable and refined. A custom upholstered sectional has generous proportions that invite relaxation. Swivel chairs in a sumptuous velvety taupe allow for varied seating arrangements that encourage conversation. A hand-knotted rug anchors the room with traditional patterning and provides softness underfoot.
While custom drapery frames the windows, accent lighting plays a key role in shaping the atmosphere. Ceramic table lamps and a tapered wooden floor lamp cast a warm, diffused glow across the space. Accessories and accents such as custom pillows, throws, and decorative objects add layers of visual interest and complement the clean lines of the custom furniture.
Primary Bedroom
The center of the room has a tall upholstered bed in a soft cream linen-blend with wire-brushed legs. Our selection of bedding included a natural washed linen coverlet and matching shams with a pure cashmere and lambswool duvet. A custom bench at the foot of the bed provides additional seating, and shadow-box nightstands with glass-front drawers house personal keepsakes and offer storage.
Across the room, a French-inspired secretary desk paired with an upholstered desk chair provides an organized workspace, while a rounded swivel chair in charcoal performance fabric forms a plush corner for reading or relaxing.
Lighting and reflective surfaces elevate the serene ambiance. Large ceramic table lamps with speckled white and gray glaze sit atop the nightstands, while a charming brass floor lamp adds an asymmetrical, modern touch. Custom wool drapery frames the windows, softening daylight and adding warmth.
Primary Bathroom
In the primary bathroom, soft rectangular mirrors achieve clean, contemporary lines. In between, floating glass shelves provide storage and a place to add personality to the space with decor. Walls were enhanced through the addition of a soft vinyl sateen wallpaper, with a subtle sheen that contributes to an understated elegance.
Guest Bedroom
This guest bedroom captures a polished result through a neutral, monochromatic palette. A custom fluted upholstered headboard in a rich charcoal hue is contrasted by natural linen bedding. Shagreen-accented nightstands flank the bed, providing both storage and texture.
A mid-century Scandinavian-inspired chair and matching ottoman feature gentle curves, smooth upholstery, and button-tufted details, creating a corner for calm. Beneath the furnishings, a vintage-inspired rug has a subtle pattern – while atop the furnishings, crystal-and-brass table lamps bring beautiful ambient lighting.
Guest Bathroom
Custom mirrors with integrated sconces rise above the vanity, enhancing light and creating a sense of openness. Painted millwork provides clean lines and a cohesive design, and decor in the linen closet ensures this center focal point is a treat for the eyes.
