Law Firm Lift

This client had just relocated their law office to a historic building off the capitol square from 1915. They decided to bring in our team to help make the space feel cohesive, polished, and personal.

The project began with reimagining their existing furniture layout and sourcing new pieces to better fit the new office. As things evolved, our scope expanded to include custom cabinetry modifications, lighting updates, and curated decor. With a clear design vision and a fast-approaching move-in date, our challenge was to balance tight timelines with thoughtful selections.

The result is a professional, yet welcoming space that reflects their style while remaining functional for day-to-day operations.

Primary Office

The main office was our first priority. We repurposed some of the client’s existing furniture and added fresh touches with a new desk, filing cabinet, credenza, rug, curated art, and layered decor. With a direct view to the capitol, this room didn’t need much to make it stand out. We therefore decided to provide contrast against the existing wood with darker neutral pieces and layered textures to make the space feel warm without being overly decorated.

Conference Room

The biggest transformation in this project was updating a law book library filled with open shelving to a functioning conference room.

We repurposed the existing built-in by adding custom cabinet doors, allowing files and office essentials to be nearly tucked away. The updated millwork blends seamlessly into the room, offering clean-lined storage that feels intentional and elevated. The original conference room doors were also slightly too tall for the new framing, so we had them trimmed down to fit properly.

Striking pendants add sculptural interest and anchor the long table. Their transitional design features a blown, cased opal glass teardrop shade and delicate chain supports, offering a perfect balance of classic and modern style. For furnishings, we selected vegan leather office chairs, a powder blue and gardenia-toned rug with rich texture, a raffia-wrapped sideboard for an organic layer of warmth, and a light pine cabinet to offer additional storage. Each piece was chosen to make the space feel both sophisticated and inviting. We believe that the smallest of details can make a big difference, so we concealed visible cords and relocated the thermostat, giving the room a cleaner, more refined finish.

Decor

What started as a functional furniture project quickly grew to include styling and accessories for each room. From sculptural objects to coffee table books, each accent piece was chosen with care to reflect the approachable feel our clients were after and add just the right touch of personality.
