Earthy Escape
This client had just moved into a new house and enlisted our help to make it feel like home through furniture, fixtures, and small finish updates. The goal was to highlight their personalities and style throughout the main areas of their first floor while keeping it kid- and pet-friendly. A fresh coat of relaxing gray paint throughout gave a clean canvas to build upon (always a great way to begin a design transformation!). Texture and details on every piece really made this project special, and large statement-making lighting selections were the cherry on top.

Living Room
The rectangular-shaped living room expanded into the entryway of the home, leaving unused space between the living and entry. Sourcing a long, custom-sized rug helped us to increase the living area towards the entry while layering a smaller, patterned rug on top helped us to designate the two spaces and pull all of the earthy tones and color pops together.
Each furniture piece was selected with comfort in mind, and there is no bad place to sit in this room. A tufted leather chaise lounge and aged iron floor lamp was selected as a corner feature for the perfect reading spot. Two custom sofas frame the space and are placed around an upholstered, gold-framed coffee table ottoman, so our clients could kick their feet up to relax while watching TV.
A stunning, sculptural mango wood sofa table, balanced by a pair of artsy table lamps and gold-rimmed ottomans does a beautiful job backing the space.
Dining Room
Our team wanted to break up the use of wood here with some new materials. We selected an impressive Bluestone table to ground the space while also offering a subtle texture. Dining chairs with gold touches offered a hint of sophisticated flair, and the impressive brushed gold chandelier over top brings everything together.

Powder Bath
A total transformation of the powder bath was made with a few key updates. The deep, saturated, artistically detailed wallpaper is endlessly fascinating to view, and was a beautiful fit for their vanity. We then opted for a clean, contemporary mirror with hammered bronze corners, and framed it with two perfectly polished black and bronze sconces.
Entryway
The high ceilings, open staircase, and recessed wood ceiling detail gave us all an incredible opportunity to make a statement with lighting when walking in the door. We added one of our all-time favorite selections at the front door, and reserved an oversized lantern-shaped classic iron option for the stairs. A couple of carefully chosen sconces were the final pieces added the stairwell wall, and this area became a total stunner.
