Lakeside Comfort
The Farwell home has a prime location on Lake Mendota with large windows that capture picturesque views of the water. Our design therefore focused on keeping the interior bright and peaceful to reflect the surrounding landscape. Included in the initial remodel was an incredible transformation of a dark, outdated kitchen to a bright timeless stunner, luxurious wallcovering additions to the dining room and powder bath, and fantastic new furnishings, fixtures, and decor throughout the entire space. The result is a classy, timeless design that is worthy of its location.

Kitchen and Dinette
An added neutral tile backsplash seamlessly extends from the quartz countertops all the way up to the ceiling to create an understated but impactful focal point. Dark wood cabinets were painted in a two-color scheme, and modern, matte black hardware was added. In the dinette, a custom white oak table was created and surrounded by beautifully sculpted yoke-backed upholstery.
Living Room
The first room that can be seen from entering the home is the Living Room. We kept this space quiet and understated with soft furnishings and finishes, featuring a custom sofa, lounge chairs with hand-wrapped wicker backs, and swivel chairs strategically placed by the windows to allow our clients to have the option to sit facing the conversation space or to turn around and look out to the water.

Dining Room
The dining room is truly remarkable with the addition of the cornflower blue sisal grasscloth and a gilded plaster light fixture with clean lines and a transitional design. A custom dining table was created by one of the most talented woodworkers in Wisconsin, flanked by high-performance fabric dining chairs and a sideboard. The finishing touches of the area rug and drapery adds warm texture to pull everything together.
