This renovation included the transformation of two bathrooms and a series of updates throughout the home to create a more functional, elevated living experience.
In the primary bathroom, we relocated major plumbing fixtures, upgraded lighting and electrical, added a custom vanity, and incorporated layered materials such as zellige tile, wallpaper, and quartz. The guest bathroom was also reimagined to become a moody retreat with terracotta floors, a walk-in shower, and carefully placed lighting for a spa-like feel. Alongside bathroom updates, additional work included custom drapery, wallpaper, and light furniture additions in the primary bedroom.
Overall, this home refresh embraces bold patterns, rich textures, and a distinctly Moroccan-inspired flair. From the sculptural lighting to the saturated tones and tactile finishes, every detail was designed to bring personality, energy, and intention into the space.
Primary Bathroom
This dramatic primary bathroom balances elegance with bold expression. Rooted in rich materials and layered textures, the design showcases a palette of deep green tile, creamy marble, luxe brass finishes, and organic movement throughout. The space centers around a walk-in shower wrapped in beautiful emerald ceramic tile, stacked and chevroned to create a dynamic contrast between upper and lower walls. Calacatta Verde marble brings softness and variation across the shower bench, niche, and curb, while two options of mosaic hex tile add texture underfoot.
The walnut vanity with satin bronze hardware was designed to feel like a furniture piece, grounded with a Ridgeline edge quartz top and a tailored 6″ backsplash. Above the sink, a pair of vintage-inspired Italian sconces in raw brass provide a sculptural moment, complemented by a wallpapered accent wall with transposed whimsical brushstrokes.
Brizo’s luxe gold fixtures were selected throughout, including surface-mounted faucets, a rain shower, and a handheld set. Finishing touches like in-drawer outlets and a dual-flush Kohler Veil toilet keep the space both modern and efficient. Altogether, the bathroom strikes a perfect balance of high function and curated drama.
Guest Bathroom
In the guest bathroom, expressive pattern meets high-end craftsmanship. Inspired by a modern Moroccan aesthetic, the palette blends deep, saturated hues with geometric tile, brushed brass finishes, and sculptural lighting.
The star of the space is the custom tile work with an interplay of soft terracotta floor tile, hand-glazed Bianco wall tile in two sizes, and a marbled organic shower floor mosaic. Continuing in the shower, a clean-lined glass enclosure and linear drain keep things feeling polished and open, while a combination of handheld and wall-mounted shower fixtures in vibrant brushed brass offer function without compromising on form.
The floating vessel sink in a soft nude concrete sits atop a rustic ash vanity, paired with a luxe wall-mounted Kohler faucet. Overhead, delicate wrapped pendants in antique burnished brass create layered light, softened by plum-colored walls and a ceiling painted to match. An elegant arch-top mirror, and a suite of unlacquered brass accessories complete the look with thoughtful detailing. The result? A space bathroom that feels unexpectedly bold and curated.
Primary Bedroom
Designed as a true retreat, the primary bedroom blends softness and structure through a palette of layered textures and refined silhouettes. Every detail was selected, creating a space that feels both elevated and deeply restful to balance luxury with comfort.
At the heart of the room is an upholstered bedframe with crisp black-and-white bedding and tonal layers of blush, slate, and plum. The soft blush rug underfoot grounds the space with warmth, while custom drapery in a bold velvet ikat and wallpaper with a hand-printed greek pattern add dramatic texture and contrast.
Flanking the bed, a pair of pearlescent nightstands are accented by antique brass and black wall sconces. Across the room, the low-profile dresser in ebonized pine adds graphic depth. With a statement capiz chandelier above and thoughtful lighting throughout, the space comes together as a sanctuary that feels equal parts tailored and serene.
